The year 2002 saw the birth of San Antonio's new premier sporting stadium - the AT&T Center (Then named SBC Center). This fantastic venue with it's unique architecture manages to blend all the modern facilities within a Southwest flavored design, earning it the affectionate nickname of “The Barn”.
The AT&T Center is home to the successful and extremely popular NBA basketball team the San Antonio Spurs, and home games are often sold-out events.
